It’s not always at the forefront of everyone’s mind when wedding planning these days, traditions have changed massively, the cake used to be a pivotal part of everyone’s wedding but we’ve seen a huge shift in styles over recent years, thank you Pinterest.
In 2018, with it being our first year in business we decided to focus on talking to potential couples to find out what people really wanted and it was a real split between ‘we’re not massive cake people, its just something to cut on the day’ to ‘we want a wow cake that reflects us & our special day’.
Now, we love a good wedding over here but in the past couple of years at some of the weddings we’ve been to, the cake once its played its part for its honorary cutting photo’s of course, has been completely forgotten about and then at the end of the night in a last minute panic has been hacked to death by the guests ( it both makes me lol & cry ).
So we got to thinking! After a few people saying, ”its just such a faff to cut a big cake and hand it out to the guests when you’re in full swing of the evening”, we heard you guys load & clear. OH MY CAKERY has got you covered…

Our Dessert board and Donut wall made from reclaimed wood & copper piper can also be dressed by your florist on the day and loaded with yummy treats made by OH MY CAKERY for you guests to enjoy, I mean they are going to need to keep their energy up after throwing some serious shapes on the dance floor!!

When you book with OH MY CAKERY your final quotation always includes a cake tasting consultation at our shop (alternatively if you aren’t local we can post the flavour samples to you and arrange a video call) plus delivery & set up charges, all we ask is for a small deposit to secure your wedding date.
